BEAT THE HEAT ART SWAP MEET

The Oak Cliff Cultural Center is pleased to present the first annual BEAT THE HEAT ART SWAP MEET, a vendor market featuring visual artists living and working in DFW.  In keeping with the mission of the Oak Cliff Cultural Center, this event supports and promotes the work of local artists and commits to enriching and empowering the community through arts and cultural programming that is equitable and diverse.  The Dallas Museum of Art, Perot Museum of Nature and Science, and Dallas Center for Photography will offer free activities during the swap meet.

Visual artists tabling at the event will have drawings, paintings, ceramics, and other original art merchandise for sale. Participating artists include Olivia Arratia, MOM (Brooke Chaney), Corasonora, Hermanos Photography, Jer’Lisa Devezin, Jas Mardis, Analise Minjarez, Mylan Nguyen, T.C. Oliver, William T. Oliver, Viktor Ortix, Brent Ozaeta, Soyla Santos, SM Sanz, Andrew Tellez, Taro Waggoner, Liz Wallace, and Thistle Creative Reuse.

Mindamora Rocha, owner of Merienda Monster will be selling her Filipino and Mexican inspired Vegan treats. The Bodega Provisions will have grab-n-go food to sell.  Friends of the Oak Cliff Cultural Center will be selling limited edition canvas totes designed by local artist Brent Ozaeta.
