MaricónX is a groundbreaking initiative offering a secure, inclusive platform for LGBTQIA Latino/a/x/e artists. This program features traveling art exhibitions showcasing the talents of LGBTQ+ Latinx artists in two-dimensional and three-dimensional formats.
MarixónX reclaims “Maricón” to foster unity and promote dialogue on crucial issues affecting LGBTQ+ Latino/a/x/e communities, including identity, culture, religion, media, politics, and gender identity.
Participating artists explore their personal and historical perspectives on Queer Latinx issues, challenging misinformation and amplifying marginalized voices. MarixónX aims to cultivate community, awareness, and appreciation through its diverse art exhibitions and open conversations
