Sept. 14 | Pop-up Exhibition: Isolation by Janay Adams
Isolation is a series of pieces created at the beginning of the pandemic in 2020. The collection explores oneself, sexuality, and intimacy. The second part of the exhibit is a collection of the “I AM NOT JUST A COLOR” collection. The series consists of portraits of individuals of color – the colors used are meant to draw attention with their vibrancy. Last but not least, “Afterlife” is a small series of illustrations exploring the thoughts behind what happens after we die. Each piece is of an individual who was asked three questions with their answers being used in the making of each illustration.
