About the Lunar New Year
The Lunar New Year is primarily celebrated in East Asia and it begins with the first new moon of the Lunar calendar and ends on the first full moon, 15 days later. The celebration’s dates vary year by year since it is based on the cycles of the moon.
About the Workshop
Participants will make a paper lantern in celebration of the Lunar New Year. Participants will also learn about the significance of the lanterns and the traditions that accompany the Lunar New Year celebration.

How to Participate
This workshop is free an open to the public. Attendees will be admitted on a first come, first serve basis until the workshop reaches capacity.
This workshop is open to all ages. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
