Spring Break Art Camp

Draw Yourself with Tiara

Seeing yourself is important in fine art. In this workshop, participants (ages 9-12) will create a self-portrait using various materials (such as watercolor, paint, and collage elements). Students will be asked to bring collage materials from home to add on to their portrait and all other materials will be provided. 

Artist/Instructor: Tiara Francois

Tiara graduated from University of Texas at Arlington with a BFA in painting.  She was 2022 artist-in-residence at Sulfur Studios in Savannah, Georgia.

Camp Dates: March 13 – 17, 2023, 9am-12pm (drop off is at 8:45 am and pick up is at 12:30p)

Location: Oak Cliff Cultural Center, 223 W. Jefferson Blvd, Dallas, Texas 75208

To ensure access to the community, please register only if you are sure you can attend. Snacks will be provided, but please be sure your child eats a substantial breakfast before coming to camp.
